Change Climate's new Malaysian manufacturing business - CCB.
We are excited to announce Change Climate Pty Ltd (Australia) has partnered with Sumwin Global, a Malaysian technical engineering firm with specialist expertise in the design and construction of refineries. Our new Malaysian business, Change Climate Bioproducts Sdn. Bhd. (registration # 1340419-M), or CCB allows us to take our Bio-Epoxy and Bio-Composite product development forward with a low cost, quality controlled uplift of Malaysian by-product resources.
CCB plans to build a pilot plant at the BioXcell facility in Johor, Malaysia with refinery builder Sumwin Global under the direction of Mr U. R. Unnithan. Mr. Unnithan is an experienced industrial technocrat, the President of The Malaysian Biodiesel Association (MBA) and former CEO of one of Malaysia’s value added downstream palm oil companies, Carotino Sdn Bhd.
The new venture has been wonderfully supported by MIDA (The Malaysian Investment Development Authority) and numerous other Malaysian Government Agencies. This would not have been possible without the immense support of Austrade and Australian Embassy staff both in Australia and Malaysia.
This is an exciting new chapter in our development. Further announcements to follow as we expand on these strong foundations and build up our circular economy business from Malaysia.
